BardyCam Ordering and Data Interfacing

BardyCam Workflow
Athena Ordering and Documentation
- Once you login to the patient chart Click on the Burger Icon
2. Click Create Order Group and then select the ordering provider from which the order needs to be placed (order can also be placed in an exam)
3. Click on the + next to orders and select SEARCH OPTIONS
4. Click on Selected Facility in Imaging Orders and click Search option to select the lab
5. Enter the Lab Name: BARDY DIAGNOSTICS – GLOBAL and select the lab which is attached in below screenshot
6. Once the lab is selected, make sure it populates on the Imaging Orders section and minimize this order tab by clicking << (steps 4-6 should preload in Athena and should not have to be done each time)
7. Enter the cam 7day OR BardyCam order set
8. Once the test is selected, you will see the
Sign Order option turned into Green and click on it
9. Navigate to your Orders / Rxs / Auths Bucket and locate the order
10. Select the order and fill out all the required fields that are highlighted in red
Do not enter AM/PM in the activation time. Only enter the numbers. Example: 9:15 or 2:45
Activation time needs to be within 5 minutes of activation. BardyCam uses that time to estimate time of events on report
11. When the required fields are completed, select VIEW ACTIONS
12. You will select the option SUBMIT BY INTERFACE, then select SAVE to submit the order to BardyCam.
If there is no Submit By Interface option available, please try enabling the permissions below for the practice users who are trying to place the orders :
- Clinicals: Order/Prescription Sign-off
- Clinicals: Use Interface-only Document Actions
Registering a CAM Device on the Online Portal
After entering the order in Athena, log into BardyCam’s BDxConnect portal to complete the process. You must verify that the monitor is registered and confirm that all required steps have been completed.
- Log into your BDxConnect
- MA Leads can create accounts for team members
- Locate the patient in the patient list and select the hyperlink
4. Confirm Order Details and Patient Information is correct and complete
5. Confirm CAM Registration and Indications is correct and complete
6. Confirm Billing Information is correct and complete
7. Select Save & Close at the bottom
8. If prompted, select a Reason For Change* and select Save & Close
