Ambir Scanner Not Working
If you encounter difficulties with using your Ambir scanner, try these steps to restore functionality:
- Close and reopen Athena. Test scanner to see if it works afterwards.
- Restart the scanner - Flip the power button on the back of the scanner to turn it off, then flip it again to turn back on. Test scanner afterwards.
- Reset the scanner - Unplug the USB cable from the back of the scanner, flip the scanner power plug, then plug USB cable back in, and flip the scanner power plug again to turn it back on. Test scanner afterwards.
Disconnect your laptop from your docking station - Unplug the small USB-C cable plugged into your laptop, then plug it back in after 5-10 seconds. Test scanner afterwards.
- Restart your computer - After you log back in, open Athena and test scanner.
- If none of these steps are helpful to resolve the issue, please submit an IT ticket for remote scanner support.
