Signing Into Perimeter81 > Accessing Athena & Foundry
Overview
Usage of certain Hopscotch Primary Care websites, applications and resources may require use of a managed Virtual Private Network (VPN). Hopscotch uses Perimeter81 as a VPN client, using this application is required to access the following platforms:
- Foundry
- Athena
If attempting to access without being connected to Perimeter81, you will likely not be able to login, or will get a connection error.
Perimeter81 is automatically installed on every Hopscotch device, you will not need to download it yourself.
Connect to Perimeter81
To log into Perimeter81, follow these steps alongside the visual diagram:
- Double click the icon located on your desktop and click ‘Sign In’.
- Once there, you may be prompted to enter the workspace URL, if so, enter hopscotchhealth and press ‘Continue’. Then click ‘Sign in with Microsoft’ and use your Hopscotch Primary Care email credentials.
- Press ‘Yes’ or ‘Ok’ to any additional pop ups requesting to launch Perimeter81.
- When loaded, click 'Private Networks', choose US-EastCoast or US-Central depending on what is available to you.
- Click US-EastCoast once more when in the Network pane. When you see a green checkmark and 'Connected, you are now using the VPN.
- Sign into Foundry or Athena as expected.


Common Issues (F.A.Q)

When do I need to use Perimeter81?: Whenever you are not physically working from a Hopscotch Primary Care clinic, office, or network, you will need to use Perimeter81.

Where do I sign into Athena or Foundry?: You will need to sign into Perimeter81 using the desktop application, connect to a Private Network, and then open Athena or Foundry through MyApps.

What is the Workspace URL?: If asked for a Workspace URL, enter hopscotchhealth.

I don't see a Sign In With Microsoft Button: If you do not see the sign in with Microsoft button, you will need to click Change Your Workspace at the bottom of the page and enter hopscotchhealth as the Workspace URL.

I see an error stating "I have no applications": You will not be able to access Athena or Foundry through the browser's Application window. You will need to sign into Perimeter81 using the desktop application, connect to a Private Network, and then open Athena or Foundry through MyApps.

I see an error stating "You are not allowed to log in from terminal _": You will need to follow the steps titled Connect to Perimeter81 to sign into Athena from your location.
